What is PEIMS?

PEIMS stands for the Public Education Information Management System, a system used by TEA to collect and manage data about public education in Texas, including student demographics, academic performance, personnel, financial, and organizational information.

What is Skyward?

Skyward is the software company that provides Dayton ISD a Student Information System (SIS). It helps us manage student records, attendance, grades and more. Skyward also offers a mobile app called Skyward Mobile Access that provides students, parents and school staff with access to Skyward Family Access and Student Access.

Enrollment – New and Returning Students

Important Upcoming Enrollments/Registration Dates:

• April 14, 2025 – Colts and Pre-K New Student Online Enrollment Opens
• April 28, 2025 – Kindergarten New Student Online Enrollment Opens
• April 28, 2025 – Returning Student Online Registration Opens (this is for ALL currently enrolled students that will be returning for the 2025-2026 school year)
• New Student Online Enrollment dates for 1^st grade – 12^th grade Coming Soon
