The plan year for all Supplemental Benefits (all benefits except medical) is April 1 – March 31. Open Enrollment for these benefits is held during the end of January/beginning of February of each year. If the employee does not enroll during this time, they will be ineligible for the benefits until the following plan year (unless there is a qualifying event that requires a special enrollment for the employee).
