What we stand for:

The Multilingual Department offers a range of language support programs tailored to meet the unique needs of our students.

From One-Way Dual Language education to English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, our team of dedicated educators works tirelessly to ensure that language barriers are a catalyst rather than a barrier to student’s achievement and success in the real world.

Vision

To motivate, educate, and inspire our emergent bilinguals, empowering them to become the leaders of tomorrow, guiding the way to linguistic and academic excellence.

Mission

Dayton ISD's Multilingual Department is dedicated to delivering a research-based instructional framework that empowers Emergent Bilingual students, fostering biliteracy, bilingualism, high academic achievement, and socio-cultural competence to meet the challenges of our present and future, benefitting all students, parents, educators, and community members.
